Pedigree update for FIRST TURN

AMONG EQUALS, the two-year-old half-brother (by Oasis Dream) to FIRST TURN, won his maiden race in a large field (16 runners) at Cork on Sunday 30th July. Trained at Ballydoyle by Aidan O’Brien, this was his third run. He was a 320,000 guineas yearling purchase by Coolmore.

FIRST, dam of AMONG EQUALS and FIRST TURN, was sold at last year’s Tattersalls December Sales (as part of the Bloomsbury Stud dispersal) for 1,100,000 gns, in foal to CAPE CROSS. The buyer was Charles Gordon-Watson Bloodstock. She has since produced a filly and her 2011 yearling is a SINGSPIEL colt which sold at last year’s December Sales for 320,000 gns to MV Magnier.
